Duke Williams Makes Spinning One-Handed Catch at Practice

Watch this now because it’s likely to be whacked by the coaching staff soon. Update: it was taken down about 2 minutes after this was originally posted. So darn, BUT WAIT, ya boy Blogle copped that piece in case that happened.

Duke Williams has posted video of him making some sort of backwards-spinning, one-handed catch from practice footage. If Williams can do that all season, Auburn will be a lock for the playoffs. Enjoy it until I’m asked to take it down.

The problem here is that Marshall threw a terrible pass. He still has accuracy issues. The opponent doesn’t need to see this nor do they need to see our scheme.

I don’t think the pass was that bad. It split both the safety and DB, and the pass was thrown to where only the receiver could make a play on the ball. All of this makes for a good pass to me.

What did you think made the pass bad?

Marshal put it only where his wife receiver could catch it in double coverage. You should be more worried about penetration from D Line on left side.

Those cheating barners tried to hide this footage from us! Thanks, Blogle. Now when Duke has 4 TD catches in the first half we can’t say he snuck up on us!

Duke is a beast. This catch is just one of, well, hopefully many. A preview of things to come. If Auburn can put together a serious threat to go with Coates and that crazy running attack, I’m not sure a visiting defense can put a package together to cover all those options. It will all come down to pure execution and we all know how much Gus preaches execution. War Damn Eagle!!!

Duke Williams tries to one-up Sammie Coates with a tremendous practice catch of his own.
