Lache (still) Loves Auburn
Remember Lache Seastrunk...? You know, the guy that called out Nick Saban during 2009's Big Cat Weekend that ended up committing to Oregon. Well here's an interview he did before the BCS National Championship game. It sounds like he would literally kill someone to be at Auburn.
Considering he was going to be one of the three heads of the three-headed monster (Dyer, Lattimore, Seastrunk), I think this is pretty big. Auburn's coaches obviously went in another direction and it was more of a case of them giving up on him rather than him choosing the Ducks over the Tigers, but bottom line, based on this video, he wants in Auburn now. To be honest, I actually kind of feel sorry for him after seeing this.

I thought he was going to cry at one point. I guess this puts to bed the rumors about Auburn scaring him away with their “illegal recruiting practices.”

so why did we not keep at this guy? it would’ve been great to have him and dyer on the roster. i’m not so sure why we didn’t keep going after him. didn’t matter this year, but it could in the future.

wow that was pretty sad, too bad we didn’t sign him along with Dyer, but you never know how things work out. I agree, feel bad for the guy

Oregon paid to get him, Liles probably went to Auburn and they wouldn’t pay. So they stopped calling.

Oh wow. I just watched this video after reading a comment about it elsewhere, and I feel so bad for him. He looked like he was about to cry at one point.

This is the kind of kid we need. Not a kid like Dyer who cares about himself more than the school. I hope he doesn’t get in trouble from the Oregon coaches for this vid.

Seastrunk is not the kind of guy we need, considering the fact that he’s so close to Lyles. I would not be surprised if Oregon gets popped over his recruitment.
