BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Heading into the 2019-20 season, Auburn was picked to finish fourth in the preseason Southeastern Conference poll. The poll was voted on by a select panel of both SEC and national media members.

The predicted fourth-place finish is the third-highest projection for the Tigers in the annual poll since 2000. Auburn was chosen to finish third in the 2003-04 and 2018-19 polls.

Kentucky was picked to win the league, followed by Florida, LSU, Auburn, and Tennessee in succession to round out the top five.

Following an exhibition vs. Eckerd on Nov. 1, Auburn officially begins its season Nov. 5 when it welcomes Georgia Southern for an 8 p.m. CT tip. Conference play begins Jan. 4 and the 2020 SEC Tournament will be March 11-15 in Nashville, Tenn.
