Does Malzahn's offense require a DT(Dual Threat) QB to be effective?

It has been a hot topic as of late between my friends and myself on if Malzahn’s offense requires a Nick Marshall/Cam Newton type QB to be effective. I’m torn on which side of this topic I fall on. Malzahn was successful at Tulsa with no DT QB but has yet to do it at Auburn in his time as an OC or HC. Sean White does seem to have the tools to be the QB of the future for Auburn if Gus can tailor the offense to fit what White does best. So will Gustav do just that or go out and get another JUCO DT QB?

Thoughts?
