Auburn Quarterback Recruiting (@AURecruit on Twitter)

With Auburn’s A-Day coming up on Saturday all eyes will be on the QB battle that has been brewing since spring practice opened. Frequently injured QB Tyler Queen has transferred which opens up a new roster spot for the future.

The depth is set for the 2017 Season with two Juniors (Sean White, Jarrett Stidham) and two Freshmen (RS Woody Barrett, Malik Willis). With a look to the future Auburn is attempting to bring in 2 Quarterbacks in the 2018 Class. Highly touted Dual-Threat Joey Gatewood is a long time commitment and is a big priority to keep. With the new opening Auburn is keying in on another Dual-Threat QB from Arkansas, Gerry Bohanon. Bohanon used twitter to announce that ALL schools are still an option after visiting Auburn last weekend. Look for Bohanon to be Auburn’s second major QB target in this class.

In the 2019 Class Auburn (along with everyone else in the country) is after Bo Nix, son of Auburn great Patrick Nix. Auburn seems to be the obvious favorite but Bo claims no leader. Nix will be the number one on Auburn’s offensive board for the 2019 Class, look for them to make a big splash.
