The Vancouver Riot Couple has an Auburn History

I'm sure most of you have seen images and video of the recent rioting in Vancouver that came as a result of the Cancucks' 4-0 loss in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. One of the more interesting pictures that has gone viral was of a couple laying in the road and getting fresh with each other. It was thought by some that the picture was staged, but it turns out it was not.

Now what does this have to do with Auburn? Well, after taking a look at a few of the more notable pictures in Auburn history, it appears this isn't the first time the couple has ignored their surroundings and taken the opportunity to get down on it.

Cam Newton in a Panthers Uniform

As I tweeted earlier today, Topps Trading Cards has already released a mock version of Cam Newton's Rookie Card. Before you begin to wonder when he had time to pose and get all sweaty and determined looking, take a look under the ball. Do you see it? The orange wrist band? Yep, Photoshop.

Was this a mistake or was this one last Easter egg from Topps to Auburn fans? I'll say mistake. Oh well, other than that it's a pretty dang good 'shop job. Yeah, that's what we call it in the biz.

I'm going to be honest. The Panther uniform doesn't look that bad on him. What does? I still think they need to upgrade from the mid-90's color scheme and logo, though. Anyway, just thought you might want to see this.By the way, what exactly is a "Rookie Patch"? Is that kinda like a soul patch?

We Were Prepared for the Task(s)…at Hand

Now that we know that the team of Navy Seals that took down Osama Bin Laden was founded by an Auburn grad (or was it AUM?), we can officially give the set of of tasks for Auburn in 2010-11 a hearty "Mission Accomplished."

Basically, I got bored while playing in Photoshop and this is what came out. If you like it, you can buy a shirt with the design right on it. If you buy it, or any other shirt, in the month of May, I will give all the money that is sent to me from the sale to tornado disaster relief.
