Gameday Tweets: Alabama 30, Auburn 12
Like last week, it was a very different gameday. I wasn’t on a campus, which is always weird to me (I’ve pretty much grown to hate games on TV), and we had a family function around lunch time. It just made the day a little out of sync, but not too bad. Once the game got going, it was all business. Once it was over, it was all about pointing out the grammatical errors in 90% of my mentions. That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? Follow me.

I like this hire because I don't think LSU will get much better than they were this season. https://t.co/Nf1ITmUHIF

Don't let the media tell you Orgeron is a great hire. They are just happy because their job got easier. He's the new Spurrier without wins.

The circumstances are a little different, but this video should get you going today. https://t.co/Onq4Eaq5Pr #auburn #wareagle #ironbowl

What about the one that doesn't know anything about the school's academics tho? https://t.co/Xfq50BaSR8

On SEC Nation, Finebaum gets on ESPN for pushing the Ohio State-Michigan game. Says the Iron Bowl is the biggest rivalry and it's not close.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
"Ignore that these teams lost to Iowa and Penn State, this is THE GAME," said the network from the northeast.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
I was 4 years old and asleep in my dad arms as Lawyer Tillman took the reverse and scored the game winning touchdown. #My1stIronBowl

The entire @CollegeGameDay crew picks Alabama to win. All said it would be very, very close. #auburn #wareagle

For those asking, I did not travel to Tuscaloosa today. I was unable to get my shots in time. #auburn #wareagle #ironbowl

Remember that time Alabama played Son of a Preacher Man and Take the Money and Run and Cam Newton ripped their souls through their throats?
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Remember that time Nick Saban argued for a second to be put back on the clock and Chris Davis crushed Alabama's will to live?

He's just their watching, like everybody else, and that's awesome. https://t.co/2TBvz0GkSm

In the first drive, Verne thought a wildcat situation meant Jetemy starting was a charade, and Gary praised Alabama's D after one tackle.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
I like when the replay shows all the missed callas as Gary tells us how great of play it was. A CBS tradition.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Can someone call Castro and ask him if Hell is frozen over? Alabama called for targeting? I never.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Reminder that Daniel Thomas was a 3-star late signing day pick-up. He has a pick in an Iron Bowl as a freshman. #auburn
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Up next: Joe Namath will ask to kiss Verne on the mouth. #auburn #ironbowl #alabama
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Joe Namath starts to compliment Auburn defense, Gary jumps in to stop him and talk about his mink coat.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
The fact that this is being reviewed tells you all you need to know. #auburn #ironbowl
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Alabama has fumbled three times. Two bounced right back into their hands. Two reviews on ground fumbles. Another sign it's 2016.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
That's two for him. Again, he was a 3-star picked up on signing day. #auburn #wareagle
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
Defense: great. Offense: go Pettway and go deep. Down 13-9 after that is amazing. #auburn #wareagle #ironbowl
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
That flea flicker made so many negative Auburn fans mad and I love it.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
That was a man's play by Deshaun Davis. #auburn
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
If you currently attend or graduated from Alabama, I will accept one trash tweet in the spirit of rivalry. Because that's what it's about.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 26, 2016
If you thought Auburn didn't have a chance before the game started, and are mad that Auburn lost, I will not be entertaining your tweets.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
If you're mad that Auburn's backup QBs didn't score a TD on a D that hasn't given one up in a month, I will not be entertaining your tweets.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
One more. If you are reacting to Auburn's loss to the best team in the nation like it was UL-Monroe, I will not be entertaining your tweets.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
If possible, please attach a picture of your student ID or diploma before you send trash tweet. Just makes it easier. Thanks in advance.

Shopping at Target.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
Auburn finished 2nd in the SEC West, the toughest division in college football. That's better than 4 other teams. Juju on that beat.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
This offended some Auburn fans that didn't realize it was obviously about Alabama sidewalk alum, but their tweets were pretty much the same. https://t.co/zNpLk6K5cP
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
Due to @SEC scheduling, Auburn has played Georgia and Alabama on the road 4 out of the last 6 games, instead of what should 3 of 6.
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
All of these things happened. Unless the committee does something dumb with LSU, Auburn is an Alabama win over Florida from the Sugar Bowl. https://t.co/FrKdm5zhhZ
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
And before you say it, Auburn will have over a month to heal up and return to the team that got them here. https://t.co/ZQHBffwBSR
— WarBlogle.com (@WarBlogle) November 27, 2016
Just thought of something: the next Iron Bowl won't be called by Verne and that alone makes me feel like Auburn will win.
