Join the 2016 War Blogle Bracket Challenge

Even though I predicted that the longstanding motto of the War Blogle Bracket Challenge — “No Auburn means no pressure” — would end this season… yeah, no. Next year, though!

Now that I think about it, Auburn has never been in the NCAA Basketball Tournament for as long as WarBlogle.com has been a thing. So, it is with great sadness that I must shut this site down.

No, but really, you can join this year’s challenge, the 9th annual, by going here. If you are asked for a group password, it is warblogle. You will need to sign in or register a CBS Sports account, but that takes two seconds so I don’t want to hear it.

As far as prizes, the winner will receive their very own Auburn Hover Helmet. I have one and the thing has been spinning in mid-air for two months. It’s awesome. The top three participants will get a War Blogle sticker. If there’s a tie, I may be able to work up a shirt or two. You won’t know unless you play.

Now if you wanna get serious with this, I’ve decided to create a bracket challenge of the financial persuasion. That’s right, if you want to win 4/5 of whatever amount number of participants x 5 equals, then now you can.

If that makes your wallet tingle, go here and follow the same rules as above. Make sure you are in the group named ‘War Blogle Money Bracket – $$$.’ If you are asked for a group password, it is money.

After you’ve made your picks, I need to hold 4/5 of your money until you win (yeah, right). So to send me your entry fee…

  1. Click this link.
  2. Login to your PayPal account.
  3. Type ‘paypal@warblogle.com’ in the text field, and click Next.
  4. Type 5.00.
  5. Enter your the CBS username and email address in the notes.

Any users that haven’t paid by the end of the first day (Thursday) will have their entries promptly removed.
