Patrick Burch of Birmingham is neither an Auburn fan, Alabama fan, or even a Mississippi State fan. According to one of his friends, he doesn’t much care for sports, but he did go watch Auburn take on Mississippi State in basketball yesterday. And then he was called out to putt the full length of the court for a car. And then he won a car.
I watched it in person and celebrated like Auburn had just run a field goal back for a touchdown. Now you watch it and try to stay in your chair or keep quiet. This is why we love sports.
