Can you name one college that has had two athletes go on and have a shoe named or designed after them? I can only think of one school with such distinction: Auburn (Bo and Cam).
Update: as a commenter just reminded me, Auburn actually has three. Barkley had a shoe back in the day as well.
Back in the fall, UnderArmour released the Cam Newton Highlight trainer. Here you can see Cam talk about what went into the design and process of building the shoe. That dude will never make it.
UnderArmour also announced a “low” version of the same shoe without the ankle sleeve (that’s what I’m calling it). As you’ll hear them say, it was designed with a high performance car in mind because that’s what Cam is: a high-performance object moving rapidly through space.
