Has Sports Illustrated Predicted Another Auburn Title?
Sports Illustrated's College Preview issue will be released this week. In the Southeast, Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron will grace the cover, along with Alabama's #1 preseason ranking. Who cares, right? It's just a cover. It's just another prediction. I'm sure Alabama will field a fine team. I just hope Sports Illustrated is as right as they were last time. You might remember what happened.
And just remember, "Alabama's AJ McCarron will lead the Tide to title No. 15. It's part of a grand plan." What?

Thank you for this post. I just got back from fetching the office mail and had to touch THAT COVER as one of the partners subscribes for her husband. He is, coincidentally, a Bammer, though he never went to school there, much less graduated. I felt ill seeing the cover. Thankfully, your brilliant blogle-ness reminded me of 2010 and I feel like I can make it through the day. War Eagle Forever.
