Plenty of Options in Auburn this Weekend

This is a very, very busy weekend on the Plains. It’s so busy and happening that Auburn is calling it “All In Weekend.”  Ten, count ’em, ten different sporting events will take place from Friday to Sunday.

Here’s a schedule of all of the events:

Sport Opponent Day/Time
Baseball Missouri Friday, 3 PM
Softball Oklahoma State Friday, 3 PM
Gymnastics Florida Friday, 7 PM
Equestrian Georgia Saturday, 9 AM
Baseball Missouri Saturday, 3 PM
Softball Oklahoma Saturday, 3 PM
Men’s Basketball Mississippi State Saturday, 7 PM
Softball Virginia Tech Sunday, 11 AM
Baseball Missouri Sunday, 1 PM
Softball Georgia Tech Sunday, 2 PM

Auburn is offering many opportunities to win prizes just by attending any of the sporting events. If you use Foursquare to check in to at least four events, you will receive a miniature football helmet and 20% off at the Auburn Team Shop in the Auburn Arena. One fan will win a 42″ HDTV. Here’s a checklist to keep track and turn in. Each event has a ton of promotions as well.

On top of all of that, former Auburn Tigers, Zac Etheredge, Ryan Pugh, Terrell Zachary, will be holding an autograph signing at Auburn Art on Saturday from noon to 2 pm. You will be able to receive an autograph with the purchase of Zac’s Deuce Brand signature series “Keep Moving 4ward” sport watch for $25. Wes Byrum and Mario Fannin could possibly be participating in the signing as well.

So don’t let me hear you say you don’t have anything to do this weekend. I think there are plenty of options that will tickle every Auburn fan’s fancy. Get out and support the Spring sports just as mush as you do the Fall sports. If it means traveling, do it. I am.
