oh, my goodness gracious. I feel sorry for the children of this lady (if she is a mom). A good War Eagle will do. No excuse of the ‘rebuilding year’ needed. With the classes we have had, this should not have been one of those, anyway.

This is my wife singing – It was meant as a cute little dittie written out of love for Auburn and a playful spirit. Of course, we have appreciated the “War Eagle!” and “AUsome” type comments. Conversely, I have been appalled by the derisive and insulting ones on YouTube and even some on this site, especially by Alabama fans following in the train of their mentor, Mr. Updyke. This was meant to be fun and offered in a spirit of “Auburn lost, but damn it, I love them forever” sort of way. Watch it, enjoy it if you can, and if you’re a hater, please refrain from insults if you have the capacity.

Look, you and your wife should know that this would get made fun of. If your kids saw it beforehand, they would have said, ‘mom, please don’t post this.’ If you post stuff on the internet, you have to be ready for negative comments at some point along the way. You can’t expect people not to ‘have fun’ with this one…no matter how sweet and well-meaning your wife may be.
