Eli Gold Responds to a @WarBlogle Tweet on Versus
There are certain tweets that you spend hours on molding into a beautiful masterpiece in hopes that they spread like wildfire throughout the Twittersphere. In my experience, they usually end up being duds.
There are other tweets that come out quickly and without a second thought, like mine from this past Wednesday. Those end up being mentioned on 'NBC Sports Talk' on Versus and are incorrectly presented to a befuddled Eli Gold in the form of a question.

I often ask questions on 97.3′s facebook page, and they are often asked on air and I have to say, it is REALLY odd hearing Eli say my name… Stan, on the other hand, has the voice of a football angel… #NoHomo

The University of Alabama’s bookstore is selling t-shirts of a dead Toomer’s Oak emblazoned with Updyke’s Tree Service Gets to the Root of the Problem. There is NO reason EVER to root for this classless program.

You have to be careful with things like that if you haven’t seen it first hand.
Just checking to see if you saw it or if you heard about it. If they really are, that’s terrible, but unfortunately we all know how rumors fly between AU and UA…
