Taps Played at Jordan-Hare Stadium

You want to get the ‘Blogler to bawl? Mix a sporting event with an American tragedy. Yesterday, before the kickoff of Auburn’s win over Mississippi State, Mark DeGoti, Assistant Professor of Trumpet for Auburn’s music department, performed Taps in remembrance of those who lost their lives on 9/11/01. There wasn’t a dry eye in the stadium.

We will never forget.

I have never heard the stadium that quiet. It was powerful.

Should have thrown something blunt at the jerk in front of you who didn’t remove his cap.
