Didn’t Auburn use something similar to motivate our players for 2010. Then again, just reading Mobile’s Press-Register last year would’ve been enough to motivate anyone.
It’s crooked. Can someone straighten that? I kind of like it. 24-0 then 27-28. Please let me know if and where there are copies available. I don’t ever want to be down 24-0 EVER again! So I agree with that part of it. I absolutely LOVE that they are still feeling the burn cause I am still feeling the joy of the most incredible and heroic come-back in the history of the rivalry.

yeah feeling the “burn” jamstan, not because we didn’t beat *uburn, but more because we lost to them. Not losing is the accomplishment, beating *uburn never has been. It would however have been nice to play spoiler (role reversal big time) so that you guys could feel the pain and we could be booger eaters for once. I find it sweeter though to watch tears roll when the thing gets vacated anyway.
to address the “won it on the field” argument: without Cam you wouldn’t have and Cam, being an elite player with Mullen/Florida ties, and again being an “elite player,” he had no business being at *uburn. Also, it is suspicious, and what isn’t about 2010 *uburn, the big schools (you know, the list you never make) stayed away from him. Even TxA&M, 10 miles away from Blinn, stayed away. They must have just wanted that phantom receiver that Looper went to look at as well.
Finally, we used this same type of thing with the 09′ season after losing to Tebow/Meyer and we all remember how that ended. The iron bowl is like taking out the trash after a party and you just hope the bag doesn’t rip. I’d do away with the game if it were up to me because it has never furthered an Alabama season. A loss is embarrassing and a win is worthless. We brought you up to where you are and it’s irritating to have a program hanging on your coattails.
