Week 14 Predictions

There are obviously no SEC games for me to pick from this week, given that I pick Auburn games in my Friday preview. However, I will choose two or three national games, like always, and let the Twit-Fam give their thoughts on the SEC Championship game.

This Week: 2-1
Last Week: 5-4
Overall: 86-27 (76.1%)

12/4

Oregon at Oregon State – I guess anything can happen, and the Ducks have looked a little less than stellar the past few weeks (at least for a half), but I don’t see the Beavers keeping Oregon out of Glendale.

Oregon 42, Oregon State 28

Oregon 37, Oregon State 20SUCCESS!

Florida State vs. Virginia Tech (ACC Championship) – As much as we want to make fun of the Hokies for their early season losses, they pretty much haven’t had much trouble since then. The Seminoles backed into this game, due to a Maryland loss last week, but they definitely deserve to be in this one. They sure did look pretty good against Florida last week.

I think Florida State wins on a field goal. Wide right down the middle.

Florida State 31, Virginia Tech 30

Virginia Tech 44, Florida State 33FAILURE

Nebraska vs. Oklahoma (Big 12 Championship) – The Sooners would probably like to send Nebraska to the Big 10 with a loss, but the Cornhuskers had a Big 12 Championship stolen from them last year, and would love to take the trophy in their last game in the conference.

Oklahoma looked pretty good last week, and Nebraska has looked good at times, but I’ll go with the Sooners.

Oklahoma 38, Nebraska 28

Oklahoma 23, Nebraska 20 SUCCESS!

Twit-Fam Prediction

Auburn vs. South Carolina (SEC Championship) – This was the biggest turnout of the year by the Twit-Fam. It must be a pretty important game. I had one 100-0 score and one 325-3 score. Sorry, I had to leave these out. Sadly there was no eleventy-billon this time. Anyway, here’s how you picked it:

Auburn 37, South Carolina 25

Auburn 56, South Carolina 17 SUCCESS!
