Let’s talk rankings. You know, those things that say Auburn is better than Alabama? Yes, let’s. Auburn moved up one spot to #7 in both the AP poll and Coaches’ poll this week.
If the BCS rankings came out this week, Auburn would be exactly where the other major polls have them, but they have someone else at the top.

Even though the Tigers are already bowl-eligible and the Tide are not, Alabama’s loss hurt Auburn’s bowl projections according to Schlabach (the Tigers were in the Sugar last week).
Apparently, Florida is still going to end up being the #2 team in the SEC, according to CFN’s Bowl Projections.
Having said that, his four touchdown performance against Kentucky wasn’t good enough for another SEC Player of the Week honor (I think we’ll gladly let Garcia have this one), but Wes Byrum kept the streak alive for the Tigers.
