Mississippi State at Arkansas – Why is it that any game that includes two teams out of Mississippi State, Arkansas, Kentucky, and South Carolina, always a toss-up? Watch out if you fall into this group. You don’t want to be there.
Arkansas is good at home. Mississippi State is just good enough to make things interesting, but Mallet’s arm will win it.

FIU at Florida – Does anybody get the idea that Tebow is tired of college football and that Meyer is tired of Florida. It’s like they got bored with being dominant. This is why neither of them will be in Gainesville next year.

LSU at Ole Miss – LSU was lackluster at best against Louisiana Tech, and Ole Miss is poised to trick the pollsters again with a strong finish.
This one has Ole Miss all over it, and they’ll win. Nutt always wins these types of games. The Hat gets tighter.

Vanderbilt at Tennessee – Tennessee begins their “rivalry” stretch with the two weakest SEC opponents on their schedule. Can we somehow officially change the end-of-the-year rivals for the Vols? They pull the same trick Ole Miss does every year.
Vandy is straight-up bad. No matter how many people get kicked off the team, UT will steal still be able to handle the Commodores.

Kentucky at Georgia – Georgia, I hope you lose, but you won’t. You’ll end the season strong and then keep Richt around one more year. Then you’ll see what Auburn 2008 felt like.
Kentucky will keep it close because Georgia isn’t that good, but the Dawgs will give Richt one more last breath.

UAB at East Carolina – This is not a testament to UAB’s successful 5-5 season. This is a testament to the lack of good games this week. I figured I’d pick this game just because it’s in-state.
UAB is all excited about possibly being bowl eligible. Some fans even think that they are good enough to beat other teams in this state. They do realize they have only won five games playing a C-USA schedule right? East Carolina ends the dream.

Penn State at Michigan State – Penn State is another one of those teams benefiting from being a decent team in a lousy conference. Why will Michigan State win? Because I said so.

First of all, we’re not 5-6. We’re 5-5. I figured you’d at least do some research to even make a prediction. Your ignorance invalidates your prediction from the get go.
That being said…
It’s going to be a strength vs strength and weakness vs weakness game. UAB’s good running game against ECU’s good rush defense. ECU’s terrible passing vs. UAB’s terrible pass defense.
Look for ECU to try to stop the run like Memphis did, so Webb will have another huge day throwing against the Pirates. UAB should have beaten them last year with a worse team, so we’ll pull it out this year.
